This policy summarizes how Take Up handles app data and your choices.
Overview
Take Up is an accountless Catholic formation app for adults. Most personal formation activity stays on your device. Take Up does not sell personal information or show third-party advertising.
App data and online features
Formation activity, reminders, Bible and journal activity, progress, and settings are stored in the app. Optional Brotherhood, matching, and support features process the information and content you choose to submit so those features can work.
Purchases
Apple handles App Store payments. A subscription service verifies premium access and restores eligible purchases.
Analytics and advertising
Take Up uses analytics and advertising measurement services to understand app performance and improve its outreach. Private formation and Brotherhood content is not used for advertising measurement.
Retention and deletion
App-managed data remains until deleted or as needed to provide requested features. Delete All Private Data removes app-managed data. Some records may be retained where legally required. Deleting data or the app does not cancel an App Store subscription.
Your choices
Tracking and notification permissions are optional and can be changed in iOS Settings. You can manage community content in the app or erase app-managed data from Data & Deletion.
Adults and security
Take Up is designed for adults age 18 or older and uses reasonable safeguards to protect app data.
